How to get 1000 Subscribers in 7 days

I wanted to discuss a topic on how to get 1000 subscribers in 7 days on your blog using 5 simple steps.  I know it sounds too good to be true, but if you follow these steps carefully, you might be surprised when you look at your feed burner account or email list to find 100′s of new subscribers in such a short time.

I’ll start out with a  list of 6 very important steps to help explode your subscriber or email list.

  • Content is an obvious one -  No one will want to subscribe to a blog that is full of useless information. The idea of bookmarking or subscribing to a post is so that the reader will come back at a later time and continue to reader other post you may have on your site. You must make sure you are providing the reader valuable information they can use and they will return again and again to your website for new information.
  • Choose the correct niche - Alot of  bloggers tend to start blogging in an attempt to make fast money because they see other bloggers doing it. The fact is, blogging can earn you money, but not right away. You need to choose the correct topic or niche you know more about than anything.  You will not last if you simply just choose a topic you know very little about. Choose a niche you have passion and alot of knowledge about, as your content will be more fresh and valuable.
  • Professional Design - When readers find your website, you have only a few seconds for the reader to analyze the website before even beginning to read what you have to talk about. When I search for something on the Internet, and I land on a plain page with black background, and yellow text, guess what, I will quickly hit the back button and move on to another website. The reason is because an attractive website will make the reader feel welcomed and comfortable to read the post without getting distracted on the looks. Choose a nice design for your blog, wordpress has some nice free themes to choose from via this link. If you are serious and would like a more professional custom theme for your blog, you can always find companies who provide custom theme services online.
  • Pillar Articles - These are very long post that have tons of valuable content and will usually make the reader bookmark or subscribe to the blog if they don’t have the time to reader everything in 1 shot.  A brief introduction of what I mean is as follows:
  1. they are longer posts
  2. usually above 750 words
  3. they offer a clear value to the reader
  4. their content is timeless
  5. their content is original and unique
  6. they outline the expertise of the writer around a specific topic
  7. they attract links from other bloggers

Pillar articles will take more time and energy to create than a normal  post. This  might also require additional research around a certain subject to gather as much information as possible into 1 post. A general post may take 40 minutes  – 1 hour to complete, while a pillar article may take days or even a week to complete. It is more work to it, but the results will pay off , once you have links pointing at your article and  a ton of more subscribers.

  • Social Media - This is where you will need to promote your articles once they are completed and all of your content is there to show the world. Social media has been one of the most popular and free ways of getting traffic to your blogs. If your blog is about a very popular topic, you might even get a spike of traffic that day, which will of course lead to much more subscribers.

Are there any other methods of getting subscribers on your blog in a short amount of time?
